Notes
I joined the nursery in March 2000 after completing the Btec diploma Level III at Stephenson’s college. I started working in Pre-school room before moving into the baby room in May to cover a member of staff going on maternity leave.
I really enjoyed working in the baby room and stayed there until January 2003 when I was promoted to Senior Nursery Officer as head of Pre-school room. I ran the pre-school room until April 2006 when I was promoted to Officer in Charge.
I have recently started a Level 5 Advanced HNC in working with Children and Families at college that I really enjoy and this is helping me to become more confident in my role as Officer in Charge and to handle the challenges that are involved with my role. I really love working at Smisby.
