My history with Smisby is a little unusual as I have left and returned twice now.

Originally I started at Smisby in 1999 working in the then 4+ unit. This was part time and so when I was offered a full time position in Toddlers I did not hesitate. Whilst in Toddler Room I gained my NVQ level III qualification in Childcare. In 2001 I moved into Pre School as Head of Room.

I left Smisby (for the first time) in December 2002 but was happy to return in 2004 as the Out of School Co-Ordinator. After spending a short time with the School Children I was offered the position of Deputy Officer in Charge in the Baby Room. I was promoted to Officer in Charge in October 2005.

In April 2006 I left again, relocated to South Yorkshire, and became a mother for the 3rd time. Whilst there I worked as a Senior in a Private Day Nursery.

In June 2008 I returned yet again. This time working two and a half days as Deputy Officer in Charge in the Baby Room again. This is ideal for me as I love working at Smisby (not that you'd guess that I can't stay away from the place!) but I also love the time I can spend with my son.
