Notes
After leaving Ashby Grammar in 1991 I spent 3 years at Bath Spa University. On graduation I worked for Iceland Foods for 12 years firstly as a Food Technologist, auditing food factories and developing new products - my claim to fame is the famous 'King Prawn Ring'. Latterly at Iceland I was a buyer for ice cream and desserts - yum!

After maternity leave in 2006 I moved from Chester back 'home' to Ashby to be nearer to family.

I love food, and cooking is a true passion. The fit of this and my experience with food, allergy, nutrition and quality standards on a professional level will be of benefit in this new challenge for me and build upon the already fantastic standards at Smisby Day Nursery.
